Rector of the Academy of Albanological Studies from the Republic of Albania, Academic Prof. Dr. Marenglen Verli, and the Academic Prof. Dr. Beqir Meta visited the University of Tetova. The visits of the leaders of educational-scientific institutions from Albania at UT confirm the fruitful inter-institutional cooperation that is already developing over the years.

Albanian academics at UT were received by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti and the Vice-Rector for Education, Prof. Dr. Reshat Qahili. In this meeting was discussed about the cooperation so far and its deepening in the future in the field of education and scientific research.

“Our university is extremely satisfied with the cooperation that we develop with the academy that you lead, as we are interested in this relationship of common interest for our institutions, which are in the service of educational-scientific advancement, to continue in the future. As Rector of this University, I have given priority to the implementation of joint projects with institutions from the Republic of Albania, and we work to make this practice a priority on the agenda of our University in the future”- said the Rector of the UT, , Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti.

Meanwhile, the Rector of the Academy of Albanological Studies from the Republic of Albania, the Academic Prof. Dr. Marenglen Verli, expressed his consideration for the intensity of cooperation between the two institutions, which make a significant contribution to education and new scientific research.

“The Academy of Albanological Studies with its work has become one of the centers, which with scientific research every day gives its results. Thanks to the contribution of the scientific staff we have managed to publish some new titles in the field of albanology, some of which, about 150, we will soon donate to your university and we believe that they will serve to the students of the respective departments, to the academic community and to others”- declared the Rector, Academic Prof. Dr. Marenglen Verli.

Today’s visit of the leaders of the Academy of Albanological Studies at UT, took place on the framework of the agreement signed in October last year, which includes cooperation in academic fields of common interest, based on the principles of equality and reciprocity; exchange of academic staff, researchers and students in the framework of scientific research activities; promotion, support and implementation of joint research projects; promotion, support and realization of other scientific activities (conferences, seminars and publications in areas of mutual interest), as well as the exchange of scientific literature; research of ASA archives and libraries by the academic staff and students of the UT.
