The University of Tetova and the Agency for National Security of the Republic of North Macedonia today signed a memorandum of cooperation, which aims to improve and train staff, exchange experiences, knowledge and education.

The memorandum was signed by the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti and the director of the Agency for National Security, Prof. Dr. Viktor Dimovski.

According to the leaders, participants of this memorandum, the two institutions will cooperate with each other and will provide mutual assistance and support in the following areas: practical training for University students, applied and scientific-research activities, organization of trainings, round tables, debates, conferences and other similar forms, mutual cooperation in the preparation of documents of strategic importance in the field of security, use of tools and facilities of the Agency and the University, under conditions determined by the Agency and the University, use of professional textbooks of the University library by the Agency, providing professional assistance by the University during the preparation of certain laws and bylaws, which are under the competence of the Agency, cooperation in the field of awarding and allocating scholarships, as well as giving recommendations for profiling of professional staff from among the University students for the needs of the Agency.

This mutual cooperation between the University of Tetova and the Agency for National Security is to the benefit of both parties as it helps the relevant institutions in building up the capacities in the field of education and science, through the exchange of various materials, experiences, ideas and recommendations, experiences that will help us apply them in practice in the particular field of activities.
