At the Faculty of Physical Education of the University of Tetova, on May 21, 2018, was held a free workshop between professors of the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education at Northern Illinois University and the academic staff of the Faculty of Physical Education of our University.The workshop was organized according to the American model not with presentation, but with free talk. Initially, Chair of the Department of Kinesiology and Physical Education at Northern Illinois University, Prof. Dr. Chad D. McEvoy, briefly gave some information about the college he leads and after him about the conditions and opportunities offered by this college also spoke Prof. Prof. Dr. Clayton L Camic, Prof. Dr. Steven M. Howell and Prof. Dr. James D. Ressler.

In this workshop between American professors and professors of the Faculty of Physical Education of UT, were discussed a lot of topics about sports sciences in general, study programs, subjects that are lectured every year, relations between professors and students, their joint activities, exchange of students and academic staff, and exchange of experience between the two universities.

In this workshop special importance was given to the joint organization of scientific events, such as conferences, seminars, debates, workshops, collaboration with scientific journals, realization of joint scientific research, Master’s and PhD studies, research methodology and statistics, processing of results, people with special needs as well as physical education and its importance in primary and high schools.

After the end of the workshop, the academic staff of the Faculty of Physical Education, headed by the Dean Doc. Dr. Haki Ismaili and US professors visited the labs of this faculty like the performance lab, the biomedical laboratory, game analysis lab, fitness center and sports grounds.
