University of Tetova and the University of Iowa from the United States of America have signed a memorandum of cooperation. The two universities in the future will cooperate in several areas such as education, innovation, training, and scientific research. Special attention will also be paid to the exchange of students and academic staff, as well as their organization and participation in symposia, scientific conferences, and seminars.
According to the Vice-Rector for International Relations of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Shefik Shehu, this collaboration with the University of Iowa, consolidates the ongoing efforts to network the University of Tetova with American universities. University of Iowa is ranked the 34th in the list of universities in the US and it is a privilege for us to sign a cooperation agreement with this university. Very soon we expect a team of professors from the University of Iowa to come to our University to start the cooperation in a research project” – said Prof. Dr. Shefik Shehu.
The two universities in the future will coordinate many other activities which will be in the interest of students and academic staff.
