The Faculty of Physical Education also offers the study programs Physical Education and Health and Sports Coach. Physical Education defined as a general interdisciplinary field, in which physical activity involved in sports dominates. Studies at this faculty are organized according to the Bologna model of 4 years or 240 ECTS and 3 years or 180 ECTS.

This field of study includes subjects from the field of physical education and sports, medical subjects and psychological-pedagogical subjects, which equip and train the student with knowledge, skills and competencies.

Graduates of the Physical Education and Health and Sport Coach study program, as well as master’s students in Physical Education and Sports Sciences, apply their knowledge and skills in the field of primary, secondary or higher education. The employment prospects in this field are great and with the amendments to the Law on Primary and Secondary Education in the Republic of Macedonia, the number of compulsory and elective hours in the lower and secondary education cycle is increasing. This creates a need for physical education teachers.
