From October 1, 2021, the diplomas of the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the University of Tetova are recognized by the two most prestigious medical institutions in the world, the Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) and the Medical Council of Canada (MCC).
Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Shefik Shehu, announced that this good and happy news for medical students comes after a year of effort. With registration in the largest database of medical faculties in the world (World Directory of Medical Schools, www.wdoms.org). The University of Tetova, with the Faculty of Medical Sciences joins over 1700 world educational institutions of medical sciences, informs the Vice Rector for International Relations of UT, Prof. Dr. Shefik Shehu.
This step allows our graduates to participate in licensing exams in the US, Canada and beyond, without the need for additional exams. At the same time, our most successful graduates are enabled to participate in international forums and platforms, as well as are given the chance to establish new lines of communication with international clinics and sister institutions.
