With the invitation of the ambassador of the United States of America in our country, Her Excellency Katie Marie Byrnes, the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti participated in marking the 246th anniversary of the Independence of the United States of America.
In this solemn ceremony attended by state authorities, government leaders, ministers, deputies, mayors and leaders of educational and scientific institutions and other guests, Rector Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti has congratulated the Ambassador Katie Marie Byrnes on the national holiday of the American people and state.
On this occasion, he expressed his deep appreciation for the help given to our University by the American government and emphasized the significant contribution of the USA to the development and advancement of our institutions.
The rector of UT also emphasized that the role of the USA, namely the U.S. Embassy in RNM, has been vital in undertaking in many reforms, especially in the field of education, where through international educational programs our institutions have managed to develop and achieve great success in the implementation of dozens of educational projects and scientific research.
In this solemn manifestation, Rector Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti reconfirmed his readiness for the intensification of institutional cooperation and the further deepening of friendship with the American authorities, which for many states and especially for the countries of the Western Balkans are the best model of advancement, prosperity, consolidation of institutions and social development.
