At the University of Tetova, from today, August 29 to September 2, 2022, will take place the first enrollment period for new students. According to the call, the University of Tetova is expected to enroll 3819 new students, who will pursue their studies in various study programs offered by the 13 academic units of the UT.
The head of the Office for Education at the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Neziri said that in the first cycle of studies, are open 89 study programs and students have many opportunities to choose which study program they will choose. “Starting from today, the application for the first cycle of studies has started at the University of Tetova. It is the first deadline that is carried out from today until September 2, the application ends on Friday, the entrance exam is on Saturday, while the results will be announced on Monday. The application was open online even during the summer. Most of the candidates have only completed the online applications. Today the documents are submitted, but at the same time the online application continues. A total of 89 study programs are open for application in the first cycle. The interest is satisfactory. Of course, the public universities remain in the first rank among the candidates who apply. We are satisfied with the attendance of candidates interested in enrollment in the premises of our university” – said Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Neziri.
He further stated that for years it is more than usual that the interest in medical sciences is greater, but this year also in other programs there are applications that according to our expectation are satisfactory. “The applications are distributed in all study programs. According to the first data that we have, because today the submission of documents has just started, and this is the first data we have. Currently, around 1000 candidates have applied. We expect this number to be even higher in the upcoming days. Of course, public universities remain in the first rank of candidates because of the academic offer that offers many choices, there is a state quota, and the choice is greater. Many different fields of study and qualification are offered that are really needed by the labor market in our country and abroad” – added among other things, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Neziri.
This year, for the first time, our university will enroll students in several new accredited programs, which are fully adapted to the labor market. For all places not filled in the first term, the University of Tetova will announce a call to fill them and will also carry out the second term for registration of new students in the first cycle of studies in this academic year.
