On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the international study “Health–Related Behaviors Among School–Aged Children“, the Center for Psychosocial and Crisis Action – Skopje and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of North Macedonia, to the University of Tetova awarded certificate of appreciation for its continuous contribution to the sustainability of this longitudinal study, which enables a holistic overview of the health and behavior of young people in RNM, but also in relation to young people in 51 other countries. This activity was organized under the support of the first lady of our country, Elizabeta Gjorgievska, where the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Shefik Shehu accepted the certificate of appreciation for the University of Tetova.
Certificates of appreciation were also given to the staff of the UT, from the Study Program of Psychology, to Doc. Dr. Sheruze Osmani Ballazhi, Doc. Dr. Lujeta Bexheti, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Neziri, as part of the national team of North Macedonia and for the regional coordinator Mr. Sc. Behare Hasami who have contributed to our country continuing to be an equal member with 51 other countries from Europe, North America, Canada and Australia, in tracking the behaviors and health of young people of school age 11, 13 and 15 years old.
During the year 2022, the University of Tetova ensured that the study for the first time is carried out in electronic form, offering a system of a high level and suitable for data collection. The data of the study enable the creation of policies, with the aim of improving and advancing the well-being of young people.
