Two visiting professors from the Business University of Lithuania, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Izolda Skruibyte and Prof. Dr. Kristina Puleikiene, visited the University of Tetova, within the Erasmus+ project. During their stay at our University, they first met with the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Prof. Dr. Brikend Aziri and Vice-Deans Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bardhyl Dauti, and Asst. Dr. Vjollca Hasani. In this meeting it was discussed about the possibilities of creating a partnership between our University and the Business University of Lithuania, in order to conduct various projects that would be in the interest of students and professors.
Also, special importance will be given to scientific research, organization of scientific conferences, round tables and students, exchange of academic staff through mobility programs and other forms of cooperation. The parties also said that the cooperation can be expanded to new academic horizons in terms of study plans and programs, especially the digital economy and new teaching techniques.
After the meeting with the leaders of the Faculty of Economics, the visiting professors held their thematic lectures in front of the students and academic staff of this faculty. In her lecture, Prof. Dr. Izolda Skruibyte spoke on trends in the International Economy. She paid particular attention to the economic challenges of world economies, in the conditions of modern economic trends.
While Prof. Dr. Kristina Puleikiene her lecture focused on the role of financial analysis in the management of a modern company. During this lecture, students had the opportunity to become familiar with the vertical and horizontal analyzes that dictate the performance trend of a modern company.
Until now, a large number of visiting professors from various international universities have stayed at our University within the Erasmus+ program, which enables such a thing for the academic staff.
