University of Tetova has become an important part of the implementation of the program of the Nationwide Academic and Scientific Book Fair, which will take place from April 24-26 in Pristina.
This event is held for the second time and is organized by the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Kosovo, the Academy of Sciences of Albania and the National Book and Reading Center of Albania.
On the second day, the University of Tetova, in front of the audience participating in this important event for Albanian education, science and culture, was presented with fifteen publications. The UT representatives, the Vice-Rector for Science, Prof. Dr. Agon Memeti and MSc. Artina Kamberi promoted some of the publications, such as: Monograph of the University of Tetova (1994/5 – 2004/5) and special issues of scientific journals dedicated to outstanding personalities of our nation, such as: Adem Demaçi, Mother Teresa, Rafi Halili, the insurgency of 1968 and Fadil Sulejmani.
The organizers of this fair, in the official opening ceremony, have described this event as a meeting that brings together the publications of Albanian researchers and offers the opportunity to see closely the scientific products of Albanians in a unique activity dedicated to them.
Among other things, they emphasize that the fair aims for their scientific publications not to stand on shelves and warehouses, not to meet readers and researchers by chance, but to reach out to them, first of all where the research is institutional, in scientific libraries and university, but also in public libraries, cultural and educational institutions
