At the University of Tetova, namely at the Faculty of Pedagogy, the representative of the U.S. Embassy in the Republic of North Macedonia, Gazmend Ilazi, today presented a wide range of scholarships that this Embassy offers to students and staff of the University of Tetova.

The main attention of the presentation was focused on the most interested programs, that are: Fulbright Program for Foreign Students, Fulbright Program for Scholars and Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global Ugrad).

The Fulbright Program for Foreign Students enables you to carry out one or two years of postgraduate studies. The entire application process is done online and is 100% transparent. Applications can be accessed at https://foreign.fullbrightonline.org/ or at https://mk.usembassy.gov/.

The Fulbright Program for Scholars offers scholarships to approximately 850 scholars from 100 different countries who want to do research on their doctoral dissertation at US institutions. To apply in this program, you must have completed your doctoral studies and know the English language well to carry out the relevant project. Meanwhile, the Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global Ugrad) is sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) of the U.S. Department of State and offers scholarships to students for one academic semester in undergraduate studies.

This program is designed to expose students to the educational, social, and cultural systems of the United States. The objectives of this program are the exchange of experiences to promote academic, intercultural and leadership competencies.
