The poets participating in the nationwide poetry festival, “The Beacon of remembrance” namely the IV edition of the cultural-literary manifestation “The poet and freedom”, today were received at the University of Tetova by the Rector Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli accompanied by the Vice-Rector for Science, Prof. Dr. Agon Memeti and the Vice-Rector for Education, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Neziri.
In his welcoming speech, the Rector of UT congratulated the President of the Association for Culture and Science “Ars Albanica”-Tetovë, Prof. Dr. Zeqirja Rexhepin, to whom he expressed the support of the University for holding and carrying out cultural activities. According to him, such events only enrich the general activity of the University of Tetova and the cultural life in the city of Tetova and beyond.
Meanwhile, the President of the Association for Culture and Science “Ars Albanica” – Tetovo, expressed his thanks and gratitude for the warm reception, as he pointed out, at the National University of Albanians in Macedonia, at the University of Tetova. The president of this cultural entity also emphasized that this year’s edition is attended by well-known poets from all over Albania, who with their creativity have made a valuable contribution to the affirmation of our literature and culture.
After the reception at the Rectorate of the University, the poets of the aforementioned manifestation also visited the external premises of the campus of the University of Tetova.
