In the University of Tetova, The Faculty of Physical Culture this year, in honor of 4th of July organized the traditional beach Volleyball tournament.
The dean of this faculty, Prof. Dr. Shpresa Memishi at the opening of this event said that, through this sports activity, students, academic staff and other employees at the university want to join the celebration of the Independence of the USA, as a sign of respect and gratitude for maintaining the permanent friendship between the Albanian and American nation.
While the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli said that, every year, our University traditionally marks the Independence Day of the USA, one of our allies, who at the same time has contributed a lot to the development of UT and our national Albanian issue in general. “It is a pleasure for us, that today we mark the 4th of July, the Independence Day of the USA, I wish you all this great holiday. Our university marks this date with sports activities, specifically through the traditional beach volleyball tournament. Every support from the USA has a special caliber for us, and we as an institution, but also as Albanians, will continue to maintain this alliance with the USA and the American people. It is very important to engage young people in various activities, and young men and women that are engaged today did this event as beautiful as possible.”, said the Rector of UT, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Zejneli.
At the end of this tournament, the leaders of the University of Tetovo and the American Corner in Tetovo distributed certificates to the players participating in this tournament.
