University of Tetova and the International Association of Youth and Students for Peace today have signed a memorandum of cooperation. The act of this memorandum was signed by the Rector of UT Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli and the Executive Director of the International Association of Youth and Students for Peace (IAYSP) Mrs. Ejona Icka.
In the meeting held between the leaders of our University and the representatives of IAYSP, it was said that this memorandum stems from the need for the development and improvement of partnership relations between the two institutions. On this occasion, the parties agree to organize joint activities such as seminars, conferences, workshops, the creation and organization of other activities aimed at the general well-being of both institutions.
Also, the agreement foresees other forms of cooperation, which both institutions will determine together, such as: sharing relevant information of mutual interest, participating in professional trainings, seminars, conferences, round tables and other activities, related to strengthening the capacities and quality of services, to contribute to the development of programs suitable to the needs of the users of the services of the institutions that are signatories to the agreement, to help each other with professional advice, sharing existing and new experiences relevant to their field.
Until now, several students from the Faculty of Law have participated in the projects of the International Association of Students and Youth for Peace from the University of Tetova, among them Amra Azizi and Rijad Bejtullah, where the last ones are now part of this organization thanks to the help and commitment of Prof. Dr. Afet Mamuti, who has also been announced as a Peace Ambassador by the Universal Federation for Peace.
