Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, today in his cabinet received the new ambassador of Austria in our country, his excellency Martin Pammer. In this meeting, the Rector of the UT was accompanied by the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Salajdin Salihu, the Head of the Office for International Relations, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hatibe Dehari – Zeqiri and Chief of Cabinet of the Rector of the UT, Valmisa Novi.
Rector Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli thanked the Ambassador of Austria for his visit to our University and congratulated him on his appointment as Ambassador of Austria in Skopje. Then, in short points, he made a presentation of the journey of the University of Tetova over the years, the challenges and difficulties this institution has faced, as well as the successes and achievements that has marked during its operation over the years. He said that our University has an excellent cooperation with many institutions from the country, including diplomatic missions accredited in our country, as well as at the international level, there is a good scope of cooperation with many renowned universities from the region and the world.
The Ambassador of Austria in our country, Martin Pammer, thanked the Rector, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli and his team for the hospitality and congratulated him on his election as Rector of the University of Tetova. Ambassador Martin Pammer also reaffirmed the support of the Austrian Embassy to our University, by expressing his willingness and that of the team he represents to cooperate in various projects in the interest of the two institutions.
University of Tetova so far had excellent cooperation with the Embassy of Austria. As part of this cooperation, the Austrian Corner is also open in the premises of our University, which is used by the students of the study program of German Language and Literature.
