Rector of the University of Tetova Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli accompanied by his associates, Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Salajdin Salihi, the Head of the Office for International Relations, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hatibe Dehari-Zeqiri, university coordinator for Erasmus +, MSc. Shpresa Ademi, as well as the Head of the Rector’s cabinet, Valmisa Novi, welcomed the General Secretary of the “Necmettin Erbakan” University in Turkey, Prof. Hüseyin Zahit Selvi. The purpose of this meeting was the signing of the cooperation agreement between these two institutions, this agreement aims to promote cooperation, mutual understanding and development in the fields of education and scientific research. The agreement also foresees the implementation of joint research projects and pilot projects; exchange of research staff and teachers; student exchange; organization of seminars, conferences, joint workshops; exchange of scientific publications and other materials for research and educational purposes.
During this meeting, was also presented the Atlas of North Macedonia for primary school students, made by the former student of the University of Tetova, Edmond Jonuzi, who, through the Erasmus + program, attended one-semester studies at a university in the Republic of Turkey. The research work in compiling this atlas was mentored by Prof. Hüseyin Zahit Selvi, who said that this material will compensate for the lack of atlases for primary school students in North Macedonia.
