Within the CEEPUS program and the network: “SK-1018-09-2324 – Biology, Biotechnology and Food Science”, the Faculty of Food Technology and Nutrition of UT welcomed four students together with the Vice-Dean, Prof. Dr. Jozef Gal of the study program Food Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Szeged, Hungary.

The above-mentioned program has given special contribution and encouragement to students in their integration with the food industry of the European Union countries. The coordinator of the program from the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Erhan Sulejmani estimated that the purpose of the program is to increase cooperation with prestigious European universities in the field of food engineering, as a potential and source of training for the new staff in our country.

He further emphasized that the activities will continue in the future by organizing training for the second cycle students of the Faculty of Food Technology and Nutrition as a new perspective to increase training opportunities with competent experts and innovative technologies offered by the University of Szeged, Hungary.

While the dean of Food Technology and Nutrition at the University of Tetova Prof. Dr. Xhezair Idrizi said that these projects aim to increase activities in the future, enabling students to practice and experience from more prestigious universities in Europe. The Faculty of Food Technology and Nutrition of our University has already applied to two European projects to bring a new perspective and increase the experiences of young people, experts and competent in the technologies of innovations in the field of food engineering and nutrition.
