Today at the Faculty of Arts, in the study program Figurative Art, was held a masterclass by Luka Boscardin – illustrator and toy designer for world-renowned brands. He was first received by the staff of the Faculty of Arts and the Vice-Rector for Science, Prof. Dr. Agon Memeti who, as a sign of gratitude for his presence at the University of Tetova, bestowed to him with the Monograph of this institution, which reflects the educational-scientific activity over the years.
In this important event for education and culture, were present the Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Professor, Senad Abduli, Director of the National Gallery of Macedonia, Prof. Dr. Dita Starova – Qerimi, Diana Sterio – Sazdova, responsible for Culture at the Embassy of the Republic of Italy in our country, the Italian artist and designer Luka Boscardin expressed his special pleasure that he visited the University of Tetova to see and work closely with the students of the Faculty of Arts. He said that if through this masterclass he could inspire at least one student, he would consider this masterclass a success. On the other hand, the vice-dean for science of the Faculty of Arts, at the same time the coordinator of this master class, Prof. Dr. Nora Halimi emphasized the importance of sharing the experiences of international artists with our students, as help in their professional growth.
This activity is the next collaboration of the University of Tetova with the Embassy of the Republic of Italy and the Italian Trade Agency and is carried out within the cultural agenda of the Italian Design Day 2024.
