The Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Prof. Dr. Shpresa Memishi, and the project coordinator, Prof. Dr. Astrit Iseni, held a working meeting with the president of the Association “TAKT”, Magdalena Spasovska, during which they signed a memorandum of cooperation.
The purpose of this memorandum is the support and cooperation between the two parties through educational activities, conferences, symposiums, seminars based on sports, further training of professors and exchange of positive experiences, implementation of a program for the development of young people’s skills, participation in trainings on the topic of sports and gender equality, implementation of the innovation program and participation in sports camps, with the aim of improving skills through sports for youth employment.
In addition to the above-mentioned points, this memorandum is important as it will affect the strengthening of life skills and resilience of young people against gender discrimination and ethnic minority status in formal education, as well as strengthening the resistance of young people (aged 15-24) to risks of radicalism and discrimination in the Western Balkans region.
