Within the framework of the meetings in the United States, the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, met the Vice-Rector, Prof. Dr. Laurie Elish-Piper, Office of Counseling and Advisory Services representatives Jennifer Kestner and Angela Kaminski, as well as Northern Illinois University Library representatives.
In these official meetings were supported the proposals for the organization of joint study programs, the exchange of academic, administrative staff and students, the joint realization of scientific projects, the organization of scientific conferences, discussion panels, the publication of papers in international scientific journals, the exchange of experiences during the implementation of student services, the use of relevant libraries and similar.
University of Tetova and Northern Illinois University from Chicago-US have been cooperating for years not only in educational-scientific projects, but have also carried out other activities related to developments in the Western Balkans.
