The Student Parliament of the University of Tetova and Europe House – Tetovo, with the activities organized on September 29 and 30, 2024, concluded the European Week of Sport. Yesterday, football and volleyball matches took place, featuring students from the University of Tetova. Today, a car-free walk was held from the University of Tetova to the Mineral Water Spring of Tetovo, with participation from students, professors, and university leaders.

The coordinator of Europe House – Tetovo, Argjend Mamuti, thanked the University of Tetova for responding positively to their invitation, as well as the Student Parliament for joining the initiative. “The idea of this week-long event was quite complex. It began with table tennis games, where students had the opportunity to visit Europe House, a space where young people can spend their free time, express their ideas, or use it for study purposes. This was followed by football and volleyball games, and today, on the last day, we had a walk to the Mineral Water Spring of Tetovo. The goal is to encourage young people to engage in sports activities as much as possible, and to remind them that sport doesn’t always require perfect conditions—it requires will and passion”- said Argjend Mamuti.

The European Week of Sport is held every year from September 23 to 30 and aims to promote sports activities of citizens to have a healthier and more productive life.
