The University of Tetova officially commenced the 2024/2025 academic year today with a solemn reception for the students. Students from the country, Kosovo, and Albania, who were gathered in the Rectorate Square, were welcomed by the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, on behalf of the leadership, academic, and administrative staff.
He thanked the students for the trust they have in the University of Tetova for their professional and academic training and said that this determination of the students is the best proof that in terms of history, the University of Tetova is the greatest achievement of the Albanians of these lands and that during the journey it has tended to many great national political and social processes and organizations. “It is a special honor for me, in my capacity as Rector of this temple of knowledge, to greet you today, on the eve of the start of this new academic year. This important and emotional moment should serve as motivation throughout your studies until the realization of your dream. The path of knowledge is filled with many challenges, and you must be aware that each academic year brings new innovations and numerous opportunities to learn new things, to challenge yourselves, and to broaden your horizons. You will face challenges, difficulties, sacrifices, hard work, and effort, but also many achievements and successes that will shape your character and prepare you for the future as distinguished professionals. It is important to remember that success is not always at the end of the road, but in the very process of striving for it”, emphasized the Rector, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli.
He further added that the University of Tetova is committed to guiding and supporting students on their path to knowledge and scientific research, continuously striving to create a better educational environment for them to achieve their academic goals. In concluding his speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli wished the students a successful year filled with fruitful experiences and diverse opportunities. He also encouraged them to face every challenge with courage and bravery, and to never stop pursuing their goals.
The teaching and scientific process officially began today at the Faculty of Business Administration of the University of Tetova in Kumanovo, where the students were welcomed by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Llokman Hebibi, and the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Salajdin Salihi.
During the solemn receptions, also were handed out indexes to the new students in the thirteen academic units of our University.
