The Faculty of Law of the University of Tetova in cooperation with the American Corner in Tetovo as well as the American Embassy in our country, today organized a professional lecture about the presidential elections in America with Kelly R. McCaleb, political assistant at the American Embassy in North Macedonia.
First, on behalf of the Dean, Prof. Dr. Ali Musliu addressed the attendees, emphasizing the importance of this activity for students. He noted that through this lecture, they have the opportunity to learn about the electoral process in the US.
During her lecture, Kelly R. McCaleb discussed how the electoral campaign for the presidential elections in the US unfolds, commenting on statistics regarding voter turnout based on age, gender, race, and more. She emphasized the need to find ways to encourage young people to vote in larger numbers, as the statistics from the primary elections show that their turnout is relatively low.
The students followed the lecture with great curiosity, by asking many questions related to the topic that was discussed.
