Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, accompanied by the President of the Senate, Prof. Dr. Kenan Ferati, the Vice-Rector for Science, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti, the Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Salajdin Salihu, the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Prof. Dr. Lulzim Mehmedi, the professors of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Asst. Prof. Dr. Teuta Ramadani-Rasimi and Prof. Dr. Arbresha Zenku-Dalipi, as well as the Head of the Office for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Hatibe Deari-Zeqiri, met with the Dean of the College of Education of Northern Illinois University, Dr. Mary Earick, professors from the Department of Counseling and Higher Education, Dr. Yenitza Guzman and Dr. Dana Isawi, Dr. Eric Junco, professor of Curriculum and Instruction / Director of Academic Cultivation & Engagement, as well as the graduate students from the Department of Counseling and Higher Education, Kristin Lee and Makbule Irem Pilgir.

This meeting took place as part of the activities that the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Tetova will carry out in collaboration with the College of Education at Northern Illinois University in the coming days. During the meeting, were exchanged ideas and experiences in the fields of education, contemporary curricula, and innovative teaching approaches, emphasizing the importance of inter-institutional and international cooperation. The leaders of the University expressed their willingness to strengthen cooperation with prestigious international institutions, such as Northern Illinois University, so that students and academic staff have access to new academic and professional opportunities.

Meanwhile, representatives from Northern Illinois University emphasized that they are pleased with the cooperation so far with the University of Tetova, hoping that with the activities to be carried out in the future, this collaboration will deepen even further in all dimensions. As part of this visit, the delegation from the US, together with the staff of the Faculty of Pedagogy, will carry out a series of activities, starting with visits to several historical sites and high schools, as well as organizing workshops, lectures, films, debates, and many other activities.
