Today, the University of Tetova hosted a delegation from Northern Illinois University (NIU), which paid an official visit to the Center for Peace and Transcultural Communication. This visit marks an important moment in the expansion of international cooperation and the building of bridges with prestigious higher education institutions.

The delegation was welcomed by the Director of the Center, MSc. Donika Kamberi, who provided a comprehensive overview of the Center’s ten-year activity. This included the development of research projects focused on peace and intercultural communication issues; the publication of scientific papers and books addressing topics related to peace studies and intercultural dialogue; the organization of conferences, forums, and scientific roundtables; as well as numerous academic cooperation activities with university institutions and civil society organizations, which have contributed to strengthening the role of the Center as a promoter of dialogue, respect, and mutual understanding.

During the discussions, the parties shared experiences and best practices in the field of peace studies and intercultural communication, as well as explored opportunities for the development of joint academic and research initiatives, student and academic staff mobility, and the organization of joint projects and conferences.
