On the occasion of October 10th, World Mental Health Day, the University Student Assembly of the UT organized a symbolic event today in the lobby of the Rectorate, aiming to raise awareness about the importance of mental health care and psychological support for society.
The President of the University Student Assembly, Leart Ibraimi, emphasized that this event seeks to promote awareness about the significance of mental health in student life.
“Through the distribution of flyers with motivational messages for students and a painting corner where students freely express their talent and creativity, we aim to convey positive messages and encourage awareness about the importance of mental health in student life”, said Leart Ibraimi.
At this event, which was also attended by university leaders, Rector Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, Vice-Rector for Science Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti, Vice-Rector for Education Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Neziri, and the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Biotechnology, Asst. Prof. Dr. Bardhyl Limani—it was emphasized that such activities serve to raise awareness among specific social groups, because awareness is an important process through which an individual or community becomes conscious of an issue, problem, or reality that affects both individual and collective life.
