Student Parliament of the University of Tetova, from December 22 to 26, 2025, organized a voluntary blood donation campaign with the participation of students and academic staff from each faculty of the University of Tetova.
The initiators of this initiative were the Institute of Transfusiology, the Red Cross, and the Student Parliament. The activity was also supported by the university leadership, the Director of the Institute of Transfusiology Dr. Amir Elezi, Dr. Goran Andonov, Dr. Ekrem Ismani, and the entire staff of the Institute of Transfusiology. Participants in this activity also included the Vice-Rector for Science Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti, the Vice-Rector for Education Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Neziri, the Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy Prof. Dr. Kushtrim Ahmeti, and Prof. Dr. Agon Memeti.
President of the Student Parliament, Leart Ibraimi, stated that the best way to conclude a calendar year is through the willingness to help, especially in matters related to health. This year, the students’ gift is the donation of blood from all blood groups, a gift that will be received by those who need it most.
University of Tetova has organized similar activities in the past as well, continuously demonstrating its commitment to solidarity and the healthcare of the community.
