University of Tetova and the “Qiriazi” University College from Tirana have signed a memorandum of cooperation, marking an important step in strengthening academic and scientific ties between the two higher education institutions.
The memorandum was signed by the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, and the Rector of the “Qiriazi” University College, Prof. Dr. Gjokë Uldedaj.
The memorandum foresees concrete cooperation in several key areas, including: the exchange of academic staff and the delivery of joint lectures; co-supervision of doctoral studies and academic titles; exchange of curricula and study programs; implementation of scientific research projects (national and international); organization of conferences, seminars, symposiums, and scientific workshops; as well as cooperation in the field of academic publications and the exchange of scientific information.
It also aims to contribute to the enhancement of academic quality, the advancement of scientific research, and the internationalization of higher education.
Within the framework of this cooperation, the historical and symbolic importance of the name Qiriazi in national education was also emphasized. The meeting was attended by Ms. Rozë Ceka, Administrator of the “Qiriazi” University College, who is a descendant of the Qiriazi family and the niece of the patriot and distinguished figure of Albanian education, Parashqevi Qiriazi. She represents the continuation of the educational, cultural, and national legacy that this family has contributed to Albanian education.
