As part of the international CEEPUS program, a practical workshop titled “Pruning and Grafting Techniques for Fruit Trees” was held at the Faculty of Agriculture and Biotechnology at the University of Tetova, led by PhD candidate Jonas Fiala from Mendel University in Brno, Czech Republic.

The activity included a theoretical lecture and practical demonstrations on pruning and grafting fruit trees, which were carried out in the faculty’s facilities. Additionally, a training session was held on the use of pesticides for plant protection, with a focus on decorative plants in the university garden.

This workshop was welcomed by students and academic staff, by contributing to the increase of practical capacities and the exchange of international experiences in the field of horticulture.

The University of Tetova expresses its gratitude for the cooperation with Mendel University and for the commitment of Mr. Fiala in sharing knowledge with our students.
