At the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the University of Tetova, was held a lecture by Prof. Dragica Vasileska, a member of IEEE and a professor of Electrical Engineering at Arizona State University.

During the lecture, Prof. Vasileska presented a topic on computer electronics and its importance for the development of nanoelectronics in the future. She discussed the benefits and capabilities offered by computer modeling and simulation in the design of semiconductor devices, emphasizing their role as essential tools for engineers. According to her, simulations enable the understanding of phenomena that are often impossible to measure directly in real devices.

The lecture and her visit to the University of Tetova were part of the IOM project “Supporting Brain Gain Diaspora Engagement Initiatives in North Macedonia,” funded by the IOM Development Fund.

Prof. Dr. Drita Mamuti Fazlija, engaged by IOM, also spoke about the importance of this project, highlighting that this initiative represents a valuable opportunity for building bridges of collaboration and strengthening ties with researchers engaged in serious scientific studies.
