At the University of Tetova, specifically at the Faculty of Pedagogy, the renowned scholar Steinar Bryn delivered a lecture titled: “From Differences to Cooperation: The Power of Intercultural Dialogue”.

In his welcoming speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy, Lulzim Mehmedi, extended a warm welcome to Mr. Steinar Bryn-a distinguished scholar, promoter of peace, and prominent international figure, who has been nominated seven times for the Nobel Peace Prize.

The Dean emphasized that Dr. Bryn’s lecture represents an added value for the University of Tetova, highlighting the importance of intercultural dialogue as a fundamental element in education, peacebuilding, and strengthening social coexistence. He further noted that education, in addition to transmitting knowledge, has the mission of cultivating universal values such as respect, empathy, understanding, and cooperation.

At the same time, he expressed institutional gratitude to the Center for Education and Development (CED) for its ongoing collaboration and for its contribution to the organization of this lecture at the University of Tetova. The audience was also welcomed by the Director of the Center for Education and Development (CED), Mr. Metin Muaremi.

The lecture was followed with interest by students, academic staff, and other guests, while the subsequent open discussion provided a space for academic reflection and exchange of ideas on the challenges and prospects of intercultural dialogue in contemporary educational and social contexts.
