These bridges of friendship that we have built are considered of extraordinary importance for continuing to strengthen these connections, so that we can benefit from the experience and best practices offered by universities in developed countries, including those in the Republic of Turkey. We are committed to the international expansion of the University through many institutions in the region, the Republic of Turkey, Europe, and the United States of America. The preservation and cultivation of cooperation with many international universities has played an important role in advancing our academic programs and in creating new opportunities for the mobility of students and academic staff as a powerful tool for the development of the University”, emphasized among other things the Rector of the UT.
Meanwhile, the Speaker of the Parliament of Turkey, Prof. Dr. Numan Kurtulmuş, in his lecture addressed to the staff, students, and other attendees, mentioned the challenges that the world is facing, such as climate change, inequality between nations, and wars. A significant effort is needed to build a new system based on four fundamental principles: justice, inclusion, participation, and consistency. We will continue our close relations with all the peoples of the Balkan region. We wish for all the peoples of the Balkans to make efforts together and in unity towards common goals”, emphasized Kurtulmuş.
At the end of the lecture, as a sign of gratitude and respect, were presented gifts to the representatives of the respective institutions.
