Faculty of Arts, the Study Program of Dramatic and Audiovisual of the University of Tetova, on May 4, 2023, conducted a training session with graduates interested in the course of studies: Acting, Theater Directing, Film Directing, Film Editing, Cinematography, Film Dramaturgy and Screenwriting, and Film Production.

In this organization were present: The Vice-Rector for Science, Prof. Dr. Agon Memeti; Dean of the Faculty of Arts, Prof. Senad Abduli; head of the Study Program of Dramatic and Audiovisual Arts, Assoc. Prof. Kushtrim Bekteshi, as well as professors and assistants of Dramatic and Audiovisual Arts: Assoc. Prof. Sulejman Rushiti, Assoc. Prof. Sabidin Aliu, Assoc. Prof. Sabedin Selmani; Doc. mr. Gazmend Izairi, Ass. mr. Osman Demiri, Asst. Prof. Elmir Sejfullai, Asst. Prof. Sheqerie Ilazi, Asst. Prof. Lavdrim Alili and Asst. Prof. Leotrim Idrizi.

Vice-Rector for Science, Prof. Dr. Agon Memeti said that the purpose of the meeting is for the graduates to become familiar with all the study programs offered by our University, to see the conditions that we have and also to get to know the academic staff, with whom tomorrow as students they will work and cooperate.

Whereas, the head of the Study Program of Dramatic and Audiovisual Arts, Assoc. Prof. Kushtrim Bekteshi emphasized the dilemma of high school graduates about which study program they should choose. “You may also have dilemmas, whether you want to study acting or directing, camera or editing, but we are here for this job, to choose your dilemmas and answer your questions that preoccupy you, so that you can then decide where you want to continue. I hope that in the same way we will discover new talents. You will see for yourself that it is a magical, scenic or cinematic space, where you will be able to discover something for the first time today in this workshop and you will be much more sure that you are determined to continue your studies, in which course of study, offered by the Faculty of Arts, namely the study program of Dramatic and Audiovisual Arts”, said the head of the Study Program of Dramatic and Audiovisual Arts, Assoc. Prof. Kushtrim Bekteshi.

In this activity, the graduates present had the opportunity to attend two parts of the student exams of acting students of the second year. The first part was a drama with comic elements, while the second part was a comedy – impersonations of public figures. After that, each high school graduate, depending on which course of study they will be determined, conducted workshops with students and relevant professors to become more concretely familiar with the specific nature of performing arts and audiovisual studies and to make the right choice in the future.
