At the Faculty of Economics of the University of Tetova, on April 19, 2024, for the second year in a row, was organized the Test of the Regional Round of the Economics Olympiad. This activity was carried out within the framework of the cooperation that the Faculty of Economics of the University of Tetova has with the Liberal Alternative Institute and the Economics Fundamentals Initiative from the USA and is a proof of joint efforts in promoting economic education and inspiring a new generation of economists and innovators.
The process of carrying out this test at the Faculty of Economics was supervised by the Vice-Dean for Education, Asst. Prof. Dr. Vjollca Hasani Limani as well as MSc. Valon Ameti. According to them, the goal of this Olympiad is to encourage students, especially high school graduates, to learn more about economic education and personal finance management.
This year’s Olympiad was attended by students selected from municipal and private secondary schools located in the Tetovo region. The students who will manage to pass this level of the competition will move on to the competitions at the republican level, where they will compete alongside students from all high schools from our country.
