On September 27 and 28, 2025, the Seventh International Conference “EduConference” was held in Struga, bringing together over 350 teachers and experts in the fields of education and technology.
The central topic of this edition was: “Unlocking AI: Innovate, Integrate, Inspire!”, focusing on the use of artificial intelligence in everyday educational processes.

Under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Lulzim Mehmedi and MSc. Puhiza Iseni, student Yllka Rexhepi presented a paper titled The use of virtual reality headsets in classrooms: exploring science, history, and creativity among students”.
She demonstrated a practical model of virtual reality glasses, designed and built by herself, as a modern teaching tool aimed at increasing student engagement and improving learning outcomes.

This presentation sparked interest among the teachers, some of whom had the opportunity to test the virtual reality glasses themselves. At the same time, there was interest in organizing practical workshops by the Faculty of Pedagogy, aiming to train teachers in the practical use, operation, and implementation of these tools in the educational process.

Addressing those present, the Dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy at the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Lulzim Mehmedi, emphasized that the faculty closely follows contemporary trends in education, aligning study programs with global developments and labor market needs. He highlighted that the student’s participation in this conference is concrete evidence of the Faculty of Pedagogy’s commitment to preparing students with modern competencies and keeping pace with the times. According to him, virtual reality is becoming a powerful educational tool that allows students to explore scientific concepts in an interactive and visual way, to travel, visit, create, and build, making the learning process more meaningful, motivating, and collaborative.

During the conference, participants had the opportunity to attend lectures by international and local speakers and experts on artificial intelligence, as well as numerous presentations on its practical application in the educational process.

The conference was organized by the non-governmental organization “Friends of Education,” while the Faculty of Pedagogy at the University of Tetova, in collaboration with other pedagogical faculties in the country, participated as an institutional partner.
