In the framework of expanding international cooperation and strengthening the academic and scientific dimension, the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Tetova has taken an important strategic step by signing a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Regional Academy for Professional Development of Teachers in Odesa, Ukraine.
This cooperation is the result of initial contacts established through collaboration with Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic, demonstrating the growing networking of the Faculty of Pedagogy with important European institutions in the field of education and scientific research.
The official signing ceremony took place at the premises of the Faculty of Education, in an institutional and cooperative atmosphere. Representing the Faculty of Pedagogy of the UT were the Dean, Prof. Dr. Lulzim Mehmedi; the Vice-Dean for Education, Prof. Dr. Besa Havziu Ismaili; the Vice-Dean for Science, Prof. Dr. Teuta Ramadani-Rasimi; as well as the Secretary of the Faculty of Pedagogy, MSc. Mirvete Shabani.
Meanwhile, from the Odessa side, two institutional representatives were present: Olena Balbuza, Director of the Regional Center for Support of Inclusive Education, and Hanna Boldyrieva, a methodologist at the Methodological Laboratory for Managerial Activity and Quality of Education within the Department of Philosophy.
The signed memorandum foresees broad and structured inter-institutional cooperation, which includes the development of joint research and educational projects, the exchange of experiences and best practices in teaching and educational management, as well as the advancement of the professional capacities of academic staff and teachers.
Particular importance is also given to the organization of joint scientific activities, such as international conferences, thematic seminars, and roundtable discussions, which aim to enhance the quality of education and promote pedagogical innovation.
This memorandum represents an important step toward the internationalization of the Faculty of Pedagogy and the strengthening of its role in the development of contemporary education, by creating new bridges of cooperation with relevant institutions in Europe and beyond.
