At the premises of the Commission for Prevention and Protection against Discrimination in Skopje, on March 24, 2026, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between this institution and the University of Tetova.

The memorandum was signed by the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zendeli, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Jahi Jahiu, as well as by the President of the Commission for Prevention and Protection against Discrimination, Dushan Tomshiq. This act marks an important step toward strengthening institutional cooperation in promoting equality and protection against discrimination.

This cooperation aims to organize educational and scientific activities, including trainings, seminars, and workshops, focusing on raising students’ awareness for the prevention and combating of discrimination.

Participating students will be provided with certificates for their participation, while the institutions will engage in the exchange of experiences and the development of joint initiatives.

This memorandum represents a concrete step toward building a more just, equal, and inclusive society. Following the signing of the memorandum, was carried out the first activity under this cooperation. Students from the Faculty of Business Administration, in the program Public Administration, participated in a training organized by the Commission on the topic “Discrimination in the Workplace”.

This development demonstrates the commitment of the parties to the concrete implementation of the memorandum and to contributing to the building of a more just, equal, and discrimination-free society.
