Faculty of Physical Education of the University of Tetova, today organized a small football tournament with high school graduates from the Municipality of Lipkovo, the Municipality of Çair and the Municipality of Tetovo. M.H.S “Ismet Jashari” of Lipkovo was declared the winner of the tournament after triumphing in the final with a score of 5 to 4, through penalties against Gymnasium “7 Marsi” of Tetova, while the third place belonged to Gymnasium – Skopje.
The professor of the Faculty of Physical Education, Prof. Dr. Hyjnor Kica expressed his gratitude to the teams participating in this tournament, by stressing that they are at their home. “The goal is for us to promote our spaces, our University, but at the same time also the Faculty of Physical Education. You will do your best to guide the best students to find their place, to come where they belong. Every athlete has a place here at the UT. The main goal is not who wins, as everyone will receive a diploma. Naturally, the competitive spirit will exist, that’s why you came here today, but above all, fair play should prevail and whoever is better may win. Let young people socialize with each other. It is a pleasure that they have come from Skopje and from Kumanovo and tomorrow, the day after tomorrow they can also be fellow students, so it is good for you to guide them to promote values and not anti-values”, said the professor of Physical Culture, Prof. Dr. Hyjnor Kica.
The idea of this tournament was for the high school graduates to see up close the spaces, especially the sports areas, halls and other equipment that our University has, which serve for various sports activities and make it easier for them to make the right choice in the future. The Faculty of Physical Education has always prepared students who have achieved success in their professional careers, not only in our country but also beyond.
