The first Albanian Prime Minister of the Government of our country, Mr. Talat Xhaferi and the Minister of Education and Science, Mr. Jeton Shaqiri, today visited the University of Tetova, they were received by the Rector of the UT, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, President of the Senate Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti, General Secretary Mr. Adem Beadini, Vice-Rectors and leaders of several sectors.

In this meeting, the Prime Minister of the country emphasized that the visit to the temples of knowledge occupies a special place in his work agenda, with special emphasis at the University of Tetova. He expressed his consideration for this institution that over the years makes a substantial contribution to society and from year to year records evident results.

Meanwhile, the Rector of the UT, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli and the President of the Senate, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti informed the Prime Minister about the developments at the University, the progressive steps that this institution of higher education has made in many fields, such as in education, science, but also in international cooperation, where this university is now widely known for its contribution to the associations of various universities, but also the research published in faculty journals that have been certified by the most popular international platforms.

In this meeting it was discussed about the future infrastructural projects, the opening of new jobs, the preparation of the university offers in harmony with the demands of the labor market, as well as other issues of importance for higher education.

After staying at the University of Tetova, Mr. Talat Xhaferi, together with the Rector of UT, the President of the Senate and other collaborators, also visited the State Dormitory where about 300 students are housed. The dormitory was built with funds from the budget of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, but the University of Tetova has also allocated funds for the preparation of documentation, connection to the water supply network, sewage, public lighting and other infrastructural works.
