On March 27, 2026, at Eqrem Çabej University in Gjirokastër, an international scientific conference was held on the topic: “The scientific journey of Professor Klara Kodra between the Arbëresh world and Albanian literature”, organized on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of her birth.
At this important scientific event, the University of Tetova was represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Emine Shabani, who presented her study titled: “The scientific, critical, and creative legacy of Klara Kodra: between study, interpretation, and creation”.
The participation of Prof. Dr. Emine Shabani in this conference demonstrates the continuous commitment of the University of Tetova to promoting scientific, cultural, and Albanological values, as well as its dedication to strengthening cooperation with important universities and research institutions in the Albanian-speaking region.
Researchers, professors, and scholars from various institutions participated in the conference, highly appreciating the contribution of Klara Kodra to literary and Arbëresh studies, describing her work as a valuable asset of critical thought and Albanian cultural heritage.
During the three scientific sessions of the conference, papers were presented by scholars from Eqrem Çabej University, the QSPA (CSPA), the Institute of Linguistics and Literature, the Institute of Albanology of Pristina, as well as from other academic and scientific institutions.
Through this participation, the University of Tetova reaffirms its role as an important center of knowledge, scientific research, and the promotion of national values.
