At the University of Tetova, today stayed for a working visit Prof. Dr. Judithanne Scourfiled Mclauchlan, associate professor of political science at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg. She was accompanied by the Rector of UBT Prof. Dr. Edmond Hajrizi, Director of Open Gov Hub Albania and MSc. Blerton Zejneli, civil society representative with a focus on regional economic cooperation.
At the University of Tetova this delegation was received by the Rector Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, President of the Senate Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti, Vice-Rector for International Relations, Prof. Dr. Shefik Shehu and the Director of the Center for Peace and Transcultural Communication, MSc. Donika Kamberi.
In this working meeting, was discussed about the educational-scientific activity developed by the University of Tetova, research-scientific projects, inter-university cooperation with universities from the country and beyond.
The leaders of the University of Tetova informed the delegation about the progress of the University and the bridges of cooperation, in the course of the conversation the interlocutors at this meeting discussed many topics that are mainly related to mutual cooperation, such as participation in joint educational and scientific projects, exchange of students and professors through various programs for mobility, the organization of various activities, as well as other opportunities for deepening cooperation in the future.
Among other things, the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, on behalf of the University and all the academic and administrative staff, thanked the professor for her continuous cooperation and contribution to the University of Tetova, through the Fulbright program.
As a sign of gratitude, the Rector of the UT to the Prof. Dr. Judithanne Scourfiled Mclauchlan bestowed the plaque of the historical Rector Prof. Dr. Fadil Sulejmani, meanwhile, the President of the Senate bestowed the Monograph of the University of Tetova.
The visit is expected to pave the way for many other projects of common interest.
