Professor of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Tetova, Professor Reshat Ameti, from November 20-25, 2023, participated in the 5th Edition of the International Art Festival “QIAF2023”, which was held in Doha, Qatar.

“QIAF” is a special art event, where more than 300 artists from over 60 countries of the world participate, together with 12 local and international galleries. During his participation in this global cultural event, he also held a masterclass, in which case he was awarded the “Master Class Award” 2023 by the organizers of the aforementioned festival, as one of the most influential and contributing artists for the successful conduction of this international festival.

According to the Professor Reshat Ameti, every artist beyond the exploration of creative artistic ideas, it must find the tools that best suit their needs. “In this masterclass, I demonstrated how to use unconventional painting tools. Beyond the brush, I have used various materials to effectively transfer color to the canvas, such as plastic, paper and textile fragments. While these materials have their inherent uses, I have repurposed them to serve my unique needs. These tools have enabled me to imbue my artwork with a varied texture, by bringing the image to life with a vivacity and energy that resonates with my artistic vision. This approach not only speeds up the creation process, but also allows me to intervene more concretely in parts of the composition where I believe I can make a more effective impact”, emphasized the Professor Reshat Ameti.

The International Art Festival held annually in Qatar provides a unique platform for artists around the world and presents their achievements to partners, designers, panelists, speakers, fashion outfits, exhibitors and other participants in various categories, recognize artistic talent and creativity.
