Organized by the “La Sapienza” University, University of Malta, the University of Tetova, and “Haxhi Zeka” University, from October 13–15, 2025, the Ninth International Congress of Applied Social Sciences (C-IASOS 2025) was held at the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences of “La Sapienza” University in Rome.
At this congress, twenty-five academic staff members from the University of Tetova, specifically from the Faculty of Economics, presented their scientific papers. Meanwhile, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Brikend Aziri, also participated as the chair of one of the thematic sessions of the congress.
As part of the congress, several meetings were also held with representatives from “La Sapienza” University, the University of Malta, and University “Tor Vergata”, with the aim of initiating inter-institutional cooperation between the University of Tetova and the aforementioned institutions.
As a result of the dignified representation of the University of Tetova, during the technical meeting, the congress organizers made a joint decision for the next edition of the congress, in 2026, to be held at the University of Tetova. This will be a concrete opportunity for co-organizers to become more familiar with the academic and institutional achievements of the University of Tetova.
