University of Tetova welcomed two distinguished professors from the Lodz University of Technology in Poland: Prof. Dr. Robert Stanisławski, as part of the CEEPUS program, and Prof. Dr. Andrzej Szymonik, as part of the Erasmus program.
During their visit, the Polish professors met with the Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli. The meeting was also attended by the Vice-Rector for International Relation, Prof. Dr. Salajdin Salihi, the Vice-Rector for Finance, Prof. Dr. Aida Baftijari–Yzeiri, the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Prof. Dr. Brikend Aziri, and the Vice-Dean for Education at the same faculty, Asst. Prof. Dr. Vjollca Hasani–Limani.
Rector Zejneli informed the guests about the history, mission, and development of the University of Tetova, emphasizing the importance the institution places on internationalization, academic cooperation, and international exchanges as key factors for enhancing quality in education and scientific research.
During the meeting, possibilities for deepening inter-institutional cooperation in various fields were discussed, such as scientific research, the exchange of students and academic staff, as well as the implementation of joint projects. The Polish professors expressed their gratitude for the hospitality and interest shown, highlighting their readiness to strengthen academic ties between the two universities.
Such visits represent an important step towards building new international partnerships and open opportunities for the professional development of students and staff at the University of Tetova.
