Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, today, on February 13, 2026, participated in the solemn ceremony marking the 56th anniversary of the founding of the University of Prishtina.

At this event, which highlighted the educational and scientific contribution of this institution over the years, the Rector, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, conveyed fraternal greetings to the University of Prishtina, where hundreds of Albanian students have been educated, including students from the Republic of North Macedonia.

He recalled the early years of the foundation of the University of Tetova, which received institutional support precisely from the University of Prishtina. Through the engagement of academic staff from the academic units of this university, the foundation and the operation of the University of Tetova were made possible during the first years of its activity.

Our Rector emphasized that this fraternal cooperation continues to this day, now in different forms, as institutions with established reputations in the region and beyond.

At this solemn event, it was highlighted that Albanian universities play a key role in advancing education, science, and our culture, carrying forward the national mission, and addressing the issues and causes facing our nation.

Over the years, the University of Prishtina has produced thousands of professionals in various fields and has been one of the main pillars of social development throughout the broader national sphere.
