Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, accompanied by the President of the Senate, Prof. Dr. Kenan Ferati; the Head of the Office for International Relations, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hatibe Deari-Zeqiri; the Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, Prof. Dr. Florim Idrizi; as well as a lecturer from this academic unit, Prof. Dr. Arianit Reka, received in an official meeting the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to North Macedonia, Her Excellency Mrs. Jiang Xiaoyan.
During this friendly and constructive meeting, they discussed the possibilities for deepening interuniversity cooperation, with special emphasis on the exchange of students and academic staff, the implementation of research projects, as well as the organization of joint academic and cultural activities.
Rector, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, presented the current developments at the University of Tetova, its internationalization strategy, as well as the institutional commitment to expanding partnerships with prestigious international universities and institutions.
For her part, the Ambassador, Mrs. Jiang Xiaoyan, expressed her readiness to support initiatives that strengthen educational, scientific, and cultural ties between the two countries, emphasizing the importance of academic diplomacy as a powerful instrument for long-term cooperation.
Both parties assessed that this meeting represents an important step toward intensifying interinstitutional relations and creating new opportunities for the students and academic staff of the University of Tetova.
