Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli accompanied by the President of the Senate, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti and the Vice-Rector for Education, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Neziri, today welcomed the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Government of our country, Lulzim Aliu, along with his associates, in a working meeting.
In this meeting, they discussed the beginning of the new academic year in universities, with special emphasis on the University of Tetova, as well as other issues related to the organization of studies in all cycles. The conversation was mainly focused on deepening the cooperation between the two institutions in order to achieve results in the educational process as well as scientific research. Rector, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli emphasized that the University of Tetova has started the new academic year 2024/2025 and is working with dedication in research projects and international cooperation.
He requested from Deputy Minister Aliu that the continuation of Doctoral Studies at the University of Tetova be accredited as soon as possible. The leadership of UT and the Deputy Minister of Education and Science agreed to work together to overcome obstacles so that the University of Tetova can open competitions for the enrollment of candidates in the third cycle of studies. At the conclusion of the meeting, they acknowledged UT’s contribution to society, the country’s institutions, and its legal support through proposals for drafting the new higher education law, as well as the strategy to be followed for the further advancement of educational and scientific processes.
