Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti, today had a working meeting with the First Deputy-Prime Minister of the Government of RNM, Artan Grubi.

In this meeting, the Rector of UT, congratulated the Deputy-Prime Minister Grubi on his appointment to this very important position and informed him about the positive progress of the educational-scientific activity of the University of Tetova.

“On behalf of the University of Tetova, I congratulate you on your appointment to this high state position, very important for the advancement of general processes in our country, as I would like to emphasize, a very useful for the higher education in our country.

Universities make an important contribution to society, its democratization and the progress of the country. Therefore, I believe that we will continue the fruitful cooperation between our institutions, both in scientific research projects, but also in the completion of infrastructure projects, such as: capital investments, construction of the University Library, completion of works in the Student Dormitory, strengthening Scientific research institutes, equipping laboratories, continuing investments in the Faculty of Medical Sciences, hiring new staff, etc.” – stated the Rector of UT, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti.

Meanwhile, Mr. Artan Grubi pledged that the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia will continue to provide maximum support to educational institutions, including the University of Tetova, the first and largest university in Albanian language in the country.

“I said this today to the rector of the University of Tetova, Mr. Vullnet Ameti, with whom I had the pleasure to have a working meeting. I told the rector that the Government will consider the possibilities for supporting all projects important for the University of Tetova, such as student dormitories, swimming pools, infrastructure projects within the university and thus enable the creation of even better conditions for students” – stressed Mr. Artan Grubi.

At the end of the meeting, the Rector, Prof. Dr. Vullnet Ameti bestowed to Mr. Grubi the engraved portrait of the founder, the first and historical Rector of UT, Prof. Dr. Fadil Sulejmani, as well as new scientific publications of the University of Tetova.

The University of Tetova with its staff capacities, its educational-scientific vision and its historical role has proven to be an important institution, both in our country and beyond.
