Rector of the University of Tetova, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, today received in a meeting Professor Dragica Vasileska from the School of Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering at the University of Arizona, as well as the program coordinator at the International Organization for Migration (IOM), Erda Qazim Beqiri. Also present was Prof. Dr. Drita Mamuti Fazlija from the Faculty of Law at the University of Tetova, a collaborator in joint projects with the IOM.
The discussion focused on the implementation of the cooperation agreement recently signed between the University of Tetova and the University of Arizona. Professor Dragica Vasileska confirmed the willingness of the institution she represents to welcome our students. She emphasized that students of the University of Tetova have open doors to participate in exchange programs, becoming part of a global academic and research environment in the United States.
Meanwhile, the Rector, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, assessed that this partnership represents an extraordinary opportunity for the professional development of young people. He pointed out that international experience is vital in today’s world and that the University of Tetova is working to the fullest to open these pathways. Rector, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli, also spoke about the challenges faced by higher education, as well as the opportunities our University offers to students who wish to specialize in specific fields.
In addition, Prof. Dr. Drita Mamuti Fazlija emphasized that the University of Tetova follows the educational model of the University of Arizona, benefiting from the experience and standards of this prestigious institution in the field of education and scientific research. The program coordinator at the International Organization for Migration (IOM), Erda Qazim Beqiri, shared her experiences from the projects and initiatives that this organization carries out in cooperation with various institutions.
